Questions
Questions, answered.
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL (full container load) means you book a whole 20′, 40′ or 40′ high-cube container. LCL (less than container load) means your cargo shares a container with other shipments and you pay for the space you use, per revenue tonne.
How much fits in a shipping container?
Internal volume is about 33 m³ for a 20′ standard, 67–68 m³ for a 40′ standard and 76 m³ for a 40′ high cube. Usable volume is lower once cargo is stacked and secured.
Can you ship vehicles or oversized machinery?
Yes, on flat-rack containers. For example, two trucks carrying a high-value vacuum tank went to Brunei on two 40′ high-cube flat racks, loaded by low-loader at the supplier and secured in Rotterdam.
Do you arrange the shipping documents?
Yes. Bills of lading, customs declarations and certificates are prepared for you, and one coordinator follows the shipment from booking to delivery.
